CliniSystems advisors are a carefully selected team of experienced clinicians and healthcare systems experts who provide guidance and insight to the CliniSystems executive team. On matters such as clinical process, workflow trends, process and data standardization and other issues relevant to the implementation of clinical information systems, our advisors bring a wealth of experience that we value as a key ingredient in the success of our business.
Terry brings over 20 years of experience to her role as an advisor for CliniSystems. A current acute care nurse manager in the New England area, Terry plays an active role in shaping practice and policy through her leadership and active membership on several committees within her organization including the Joint Commission Steering Committee, Pain Committee, Forms Committee, Nursing Council and is the site chairperson for patient chart auditing. In addition, she serves as an active member of both the Massachusetts Organization of Nursing Executives and SIGMA. Terry is certified as a Medical/Surgical nurse and an active Adult Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
In addition, Terry took on a new role at her healthcare organization serving as the Patient Services Project Lead for Clinical Documentation supporting their implementation of the Advanced Clinicals. In this role she has spearheaded the efforts to standardize and automate data collection and information sharing across departments creating a system designed based on patient safety, quality, evidenced based practice and regulatory compliance.
Denise brings 30 years of experience to her role as an advisor for CliniSystems. She has a Masters degree in Nursing and is a member of the Nursing Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau. Throughout her career, Denise has held leadership positions in various organizations and has worked with a wide range of patient populations. She has many years of experience with MEDITECH’S Magic and Client Server applications and was appointed to the Clinical Advisory Team at the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health for the implementation and continued development of MEDITECH’S Behavioral Health Information System. Denise is certified as a Healthcare Risk Manager, is a Peer Reviewer for the Journal of Psychosocial Nursing and is a member of the New England Nurse Executives in Rehabilitation.
Denise was recently published in the American Journal of Nursing. She is currently the Director of Quality and Patient Safety at Youville Hospital in Cambridge where she oversees performance improvement and patient safety functions, survey coordination, all aspects of accrediting and regulatory compliance, risk and claims management, as well as the hospital’s electronic incident and patient complaint system.
